For sustainability & environmental ventures

The strategy to scale what you've built.

Sustainability, environmental, and circular-economy companies grow through partnerships, and through the policy and funding moving in their favor. We build the growth strategy and the financial model, then open the corporate, institutional, and government doors that turn it into revenue.

Government is woven through all of it: the officials and agencies that shape procurement and policy, the associations and industry voices that build standing, and the grants that fund the work. We run the growth side and the government side together.

The opportunity

Sustainability is moving from voluntary to required. Extended Producer Responsibility, sustainable procurement standards, and corporate ESG commitments are opening real markets for companies with the right offering. The ventures that capture them are the ones already known to the officials, institutions, and partners making the decisions.

We help you build that standing, and the growth strategy and partnerships to turn it into revenue.

When to bring us in

When you're growing and building partnerships

  • You're ready to expand, into new markets, regions, or partners, and want the strategy and the introductions.
  • You need corporate, real estate, utility, or university partnerships and a way to the right decision-makers.
  • You need a financial model behind the growth plan, for partners, funders, or your own decisions.
  • You're strong on mission and want the business development to match.

When policy, funding, or positioning is in play

  • Legislation or rules are moving in your space, like textile EPR, and you want a seat at the table.
  • Public funding or grants you may qualify for and want pursued.
  • Associations, industry bodies, or officials whose recognition would carry real weight.
  • You want the founder established as the recognized voice in the space.

What the work needs, and nothing it doesn't

Take the whole path or a single piece. Most ventures need some of this, not all.

Growth and expansion strategy

The plan to scale: new markets, new partners, and the moves that grow revenue.

Financial modeling

The model behind the plan: unit economics, pricing, and the numbers partners and funders want to see.

Business development and partnerships

Corporate, real estate, utility, and institutional partnerships, from target list to signed deal.

Stakeholder outreach and networks

The decision-makers, sustainability teams, associations, and industry influencers whose support builds the business.

Government affairs and officials

Representing your leadership to the elected and appointed officials, municipalities, and agencies whose policy and procurement shape your market.

Policy and advocacy

Shaping legislation and rules, like textile EPR, and positioning the company within them.

Grants and proposals

Funding applications and partnership proposals written to win.

Positioning and thought leadership

Establishing the founder as the recognized voice, through media, testimony, and platforms.

Expertise across the network

When your venture calls for it, seasoned operators in sustainability and circular-economy work join your team, matched to what's in front of you.

Proof

Expanding a textile-recycling company through partnerships.

A textile-collection company set out to grow its footprint across utilities, major real estate portfolios, and university campuses. We built the business development strategy and the target list, structured the partnership proposals, and opened doors through government affairs and sustainability channels at utilities, developers, and the state university system.

Result: a partnership pipeline and a path to placements at scale, structured so fees track the revenue created.

From an idea to grants to a growing business.

A community environmental organization started as a concept, with no funding and no track record. We helped shape it into a real organization, win its first competitive grants, and move from running programs into operating a business: it is now acquiring a composting company and building it into a revenue-generating operation.

Result: a grant-funded organization that grew from an idea into an operating business.

On performance-based fees

For private-sector sales and business development, we can structure part of our compensation around results, so our incentives line up with yours. Any work that touches public funding or government decisions stays fixed-fee and is never tied to an outcome, which keeps it clean and compliant. We draw that line clearly before any engagement begins.
