Full Value Potential's government affairs alliance.
Three decades in and around New York government
Mike founded Urban Strategies, a New York government affairs and strategic advisory firm. He has served in senior roles for leaders including Governor Mario Cuomo and Congressman Charles Rangel, as deputy county executive in Nassau County, as a chief at New York City Parks and Recreation, and as a principal at the global law firm Dentons. That range, across elected offices, county and city government, and private practice, is what lets him read how a decision actually gets made.
The sectors he works across
His work spans infrastructure, aviation, community development, real estate, energy, transportation, telecommunications, technology, parks and open space, and public safety. He is known for a strategist's sense of where the risk and the opportunity sit in each.
Recognition and service
Mike has been named to City & State's Power 100 and its Responsible 100. He serves on boards including the New York City League of Conservation Voters, the Governors Island Alliance, and the Hunter College Library Foundation.
What it means for FVP clients
